BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — BLR® – Business & Legal Resources, a provider of workplace safety and other services, has announced the launch of Incident Tracker, a new service designed to give subscribers affordable incident tracking for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance.

With this release, BLR said clients have access to a full-service safety compliance solution that enables them to run effective safety programs to minimize risk and meet stringent federal health and safety standards. Incident Tracker manages incidents, corrective actions, workers’ compensation claims, and required OSHA recordkeeping through a Web-based application. It also helps businesses identify the hidden and preventable hazards that threaten employees, and it helps them produce programs to prevent future incidents.

“Our customers asked us for help managing and tracking both incidents and corrective actions. Now they’ll be able to do both in real time,” said David Galt, BLR’s managing editor of safety.

BLR said that OSHA revised its recordkeeping rule so that this year almost 200,000 new establishments in the United States now have to record incidents on the OSHA 300 log. Incident Tracker automatically generates OSHA 300, 300a, and 301 forms.

Incident Tracker is “a workflow solution that complements the training and compliance tools we currently provide,” said Brad Forrister, vice president of product development for BLR. “For Safety.BLR.com® subscribers, compliance with OSHA’s recordkeeping regulation couldn’t be easier. Now you can quickly import your employee data, add incidents, generate the OSHA 300 log, and create effective training meetings to prevent future incidents all from one website.”
