The Energy Star^®-rated Ultra-Aire 98H can remove up to 98 pints of water per day, has a limited 5.9-A draw, and an energy factor of 2.95 liters per kWh. The ventilating dehumidifier provides dedicated moisture control, fresh-air mechanical ventilation, and MERV-11 air filtration throughout the entire home. The unit dehumidifies up to a 2,300-square-foot area and features a well-insulated, compact, horizontal cabinet (optional vertical discharge). Fresh outdoor air may be ducted to the unit, providing fresh air to dilute pollutants, which provides slight positive pressure and helps maintain optimum oxygen levels in the home. The amount of fresh-air ventilation can be regulated by a variety of dampers and controls.
