Desert Aire’s Aura product series is now available with an energy wheel option that allows for energy recovery of the exhaust air in dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) applications. This option can be applied to the Aura air-cooled packaged products or the Aura QPump Inverter+™. This unit easily connects at the outdoor air intake of the DOAS. Features of the module include: air-to-air energy wheel technology, aluminum alloy wheel with four angstrom molecular sieve desiccant material, optional variable frequency drive (VFD) for frost protection, electronically commutated plenum fans for exhaust, multiple airflow configurations for return and exhaust air, and optional recirculation damper for unoccupied dehumidification of the space.
