NORWALK, Conn. — EMCOR Group Inc. announced that its subsidiary EMCOR Government Services was awarded a contract by the Department of Homeland Security for a range of engineering services as well as monitoring services for other contractors and subcontractors at one of its secure facilities in Washington, District of Columbia.

EMCOR Government Services (EGS) will be responsible for engineering services, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design review, as well as space planning for tenant renovations and reconfigurations. Scope of work also includes escorting and monitoring the contractors and subcontractors performing work within the secure facility.

“EMCOR Government Services has extensive expertise in providing the intelligence community with operations and maintenance support required for mission-critical functions.
