The Bonomi 100712LF Series sweat-end lead-free brass check valves feature a spring-loaded soft seat at both high and low pressures. The valves’ forged lead-free brass bodies and all-brass components are made from brass alloy and contain no bismuth, which prevents stress cracking. The units are silicon-free, which help it resist heat and allow sweat-end connections to be made with traditional soldering methods and materials while still meeting all requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and other individual state regulations. The valve’s polyetherimide disc is abrasion- and corrosion-resistant. The patented disc to interior body design prevents potential side loading. The elastomeric seat and interior body design create a flow pattern with high flow capacity and low pressure loss. The seat spring is made from stainless steel with a cracking pressure of 0.5 psi.
