Ron Rajecki, an editor with more than 20 years of experience covering the HVAC industry, has been named refrigeration editor of The NEWS. Rajecki will replace current refrigeration editor Peter Powell, who will be retiring in February 2015.

As managing editor, senior editor, and executive editor of Contracting Business magazine, and as senior editor of HPAC Engineering magazine, Rajecki is well versed in providing vital information and insightful commentary to HVAC contractors and engineers. He’s received numerous awards for his writing and editing, including two Jesse H. Neal certificates for editorial excellence.

He knows the HVAC industry inside and out,” said Kyle Gargaro, editor-in-chief, The NEWS. “Ron will be able to work alongside Peter Powell for a couple of months to get up to speed on the ‘R’ of HVACR.
