• The Alliance to Save Energy (Washington, District of Columbia) joined the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Council on Competitiveness (Washington, District of Columbia) on the Accelerate Energy Productivity 2030 initiative.

• ACCA’s (Arlington, Virginia) updated ANSI/ACCA 12 QH Home Evaluation and Performance Improvement standard has been recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

• The Copper Development Association (CDA) honored Jonathan Lipary with the Best Copper Project in the plumber category at the 2014 United Association International Apprenticeship Competition.
