Congresswoman Visits AercoU.S. Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York (right), member of the House Appropriations Committee, recently visited Aerco Intl. Inc. in Blauvelt, New York, to see firsthand the skilled jobs and business the production of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and amphibious warships bring to the region and local economy.

Aerco is a manufacturer of high-efficiency water heaters and boilers for a wide array of marketing verticals that include government, multifamily housing, hotels, office buildings, health care facilities, K-12 schools, and universities.

During her tour, Rep. Lowey met with Aerco’s employees to discuss their unique skills required for manufacturing precision, high quality water heating systems for both military and commercial sector customers.

“Aerco is a great example of how hard-earned taxpayer dollars are supporting business right here in Rockland, and throughout the rest of the Lower Hudson Valley,” said Lowey. “Aerco’s talented employees are dedicated to manufacturing products that help keep our country secure and our local economy strong. As the ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee, I have fought for additional investments in key initiatives that help businesses like Aerco, and I will continue to make sure government is working for our area’s economy.”
