ROCKVILLE, Md. — Recurrent Building Intelligence LLC has announced the acquisition of ProTek HVAC, a full-service commercial HVAC and refrigeration contractor serving the Washington, District of Columbia-area, with expertise in Class A commercial properties, retail, multifamily, and BSL laboratories. In acquiring ProTek, Recurrent said it will also retain the existing staff which includes licensed technicians and founding member, master HVAC mechanic, and general manager Marty Englert.

According to Recurrent, the decision to acquire ProTek was influenced by market demand for integrated services in facility and energy management. Recurrent COO Chris Bloyer said, “Proper maintenance and repair of a building’s HVAC systems is often the first step towards maximizing reliability and energy efficiency. Adding ProTek further strengthens our ability to perform and compliment the high delivery standards we have set.”
