June 11, 2014: Tate Airflow Brand Introduced for Data Center Products and Services

New Brand Is Dedicated to Airflow Management

JESSUP, Md. — Tate®, a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of raised access flooring and airflow management solutions, has introduced Tate Airflow, a new brand for data center products and services.

The company said creation of a brand dedicated to data center airflow management has been building for several years, beginning with its launch of in-floor cooling solutions DirectAire®, SmartAire®, and PowerAire® in 2010. Since that time Tate has developed a full line of products and services.

Equipped with variable-speed fan drives, all fans can be throttled up or down based on heat-load requirements. In addition to directional airflow panels and control devices, the Tate Airflow brand will include several other product categories such as a newly engineered line of ContainAire® aisle containment systems, and IsoFlo™, a cabinet that completely isolates the supply and exhaust air from the rest of the data center to expand the available economization temperature range while maintaining employee comfort. According to the company, these products will offer distinct advantages in installation, cost effectiveness, power and cooling optimization, and design flexibility.

“The new Tate Airflow brand is built on our mission to redefine data center airflow management. By developing a completely innovative product offering and backing it with a wealth of engineering and application expertise, Tate Airflow offers a unique value proposition to the data center community,” said Donal Curtin, general manager.

To support this line of products, Tate has launched a new website — www.tateairflow.com. The product focus on the new site is segmented by solution and provides information for the design and application of these products in the data center.
