June 10, 2014: American Home Shield Names Its 2013 Top HVAC Contractor

The Company Rates and Rewards Service Contractors According to Customer Feedback

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Airpro Service Co. of Jacksonville, Florida, has been named the 2013 top-performing HVAC contractor for American Home Shield, a leading provider of home protection plans, as part of its 2013 Contractor Quality Bonus program. Airpro Service Co. earns a $25,000 bonus as a result of this recognition.

With a national network of more than 10,000 independent service contractors, American Home Shield rates and rewards service contractors according to customer feedback.

“Our service contractors understand the importance of delivering quality service to our customers every day, and we are proud to recognize Airpro Service Co. for providing a best-in-class experience to our customers,” said Mark Barry, president of American Home Shield. The company relies on its service contractor network to diagnose and repair home system and appliance problems for its more than 1.4 million customers across the country.

“Our customers in the Jacksonville area consistently told us they would recommend Airpro Service Co., which is an incredible testimony to the work and service they provide,” said Barry. “This bonus is our way of recognizing and rewarding the quality service Airpro Service Co. provides our customers every day.”

According to owners Rick and Suzie Kozlowski, the company earned such high regard because of their philosophy of caring about the customer experience — even after the job.

“We contact them as quickly as we can when we get a work order,” said Rick Kozlowski. “We make sure they know when we’re coming and what we’re going to do. And they appreciate when we call to check on them a few days afterwards — especially when they aren’t expecting us to go above and beyond.”

In all, six service contractors from across the country each earned a $25,000 bonus from American Home Shield, one from each of the following trade categories: HVAC; plumbing; electrical; garage door; pool and spa; and appliance. In addition, six service contractors from the same trades earned a $20,000 bonus for having the second highest scores. And more than 100 service contractors earned quality bonuses ranging from $1,500 - $15,000. A full list of award winners can be found at www.ahsbigscore.com.
