Expanded to include 7.5-12.5-ton models, the light commercial Rooftop Units Raider^® packaged rooftop unit line offers efficiency levels of up to 13 SEER, 11.5 EER, and 13.2 IEER. Available in gas/electric, electric/electric, and heat pump models, the rooftop units have an optional MSAV^® supply fan that optimizes energy efficiency by matching fan speed with compressor demand. A field- or factory-installed BACnet^® option offers seamless integration with building automation systems. Features include a full-perimeter base rail, which provides greater structural integrity, so the unit is easier to handle when rigging and transporting; a high-pressure switch, which improves reliability by safeguarding the compressor from extreme operating conditions; fork slots on three sides to make it easy to pick up and transport a unit from almost any angle; and the toolless filter panel, which allows filters to be replaced easily without the need for tools. The electrical lines can be brought through the unit base or horizontal access knock-outs for fast, easy installation. Electrical connections match existing connections on many popular models, making replacement easier. According to the manufacturer, Raider units are built to fit the most popular curb sizes, virtually eliminating the need for an adaptor curb on many replacement jobs.
