Johnson Controls: Residential Communicating Control

Johnson Controls: Residential Communicating ControlThe Luxaire® Acclimate™ Residential Communicating Control offers an intuitive interface and remote access, making installation and troubleshooting easy. The Wi-Fi capable unit instantly syncs with an integrated control that connects each piece of intelligent Luxaire Acclimate equipment — gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers — via 4-wire connections and a plug-and-play design. Configuration of the unit is easy through contractor-accessible menus. Contractors can ask homeowners to provide them with access to automated system faults and notification alerts via email. Thermostat fault features can be accessed to let contractors set the level of information displayed if a fault occurs and set up the profile with their company information and logo, so, if a fault occurs, the thermostat displays the contractor’s contact information so customers know who to call. Homeowners are granted remote access to the control system from their smartphone or tablet device using the IntelliComfort™ mobile app. The Quick Heat and Cool function temporarily puts the heating or cooling mode at the highest capacity. Multiple schedules and daily events can be easily programmed. Comfort levels can be set for up to six zones from a single touchscreen.
