Friedrich Air Conditioning Co.: Ductless Split Systems

Friedrich Air Conditioning Co.: Ductless Split SystemsThe Next Generation Series of residential and light commercial ductless split systems features various capacities to suit customers’ requirements, with single-zone cooling, single-zone heat pumps for cooling and heating, and multizone heat pumps available. The ductless line is ideal for rooms without exterior walls or windows and comes in single- or multizone configurations while servicing up to four independent zones, the company said. Each indoor unit offers individual room control for optimizing comfort. A proprietary mounting bracket aligns to 16-inches-on-center wall studs, ensuring a level and secure attachment to the wall, and a special standoff bracket creates more room for installation. A remote control is included, and an optional wired, wall-mounted control is also available. Four-way ceiling cassettes can be installed where wall space is limited or ceiling installation is preferred. The cassette mounts flush to the ceiling with only the grille visible. Its neutral, clean look makes it a great choice for drop ceiling applications, the company said. The unit comes standard with a remote control. Concealed duct heat pumps work well in areas where minimal visibility of the heating and cooling system is desired, the company said.
