Remington College Dallas Campus and Fort Worth Campus are enrolling students for a new Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Diploma Program.

According to an announcement from the school, the program is designed to provide students with skills in the fundamentals and practice of the industry. Students have the opportunity to earn a diploma in as few as 12 months — however, program completion results may vary, based on each individual’s performance and circumstances.

Students have the opportunity to learn how to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems through a combination of classroom and hands-on instruction.

The program covers the industry essentials, including:

• Introduction to HVAC and refrigeration

• Fundamental HVAC maintenance

• HVAC automated controls

• Motors and motor control

• Residential systems

• Commercial HVAC systems

• Commercial refrigeration systems

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, HVAC and refrigeration installers and mechanics are expected to experience employment growth of 34 percent from 2010 to 2020, the college said.

Remington College Dallas Campus is located at 1800 Eastgate Drive in Garland, Texas. Remington College Fort Worth Campus is located at 300 East Loop 820 in Fort Worth, Texas.
