SAUGERTIES, N.Y. — Kevin J. Hinchey, owner of Comfort Tech Heating & Cooling Inc., was joined by former Congressman Maurice Hinchey, to announce Lou T. Ferraro as president and Megan M. Van Aken as vice president of the business.

Ferraro began working with Comfort Tech as director of operations. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for the Hunter-Tannersville Central School District for seven years as assistant director of facilities.

Van Aken started with Comfort Tech as executive assistant to the owner. Prior to joining the firm, she served as sales manager for a hotel and conference center as well as in patient relations for a medical practice.

Established in 2006, Comfort Tech is now fully owned by the Hinchey family. It provides HVAC sales, installation, and service for residential and commercial customers.

“We have built our reputation on providing quality HVAC products, paired with the highest level of customer service,” said Ferraro. “Our expert service technicians are factory-trained and certified by North American Technical Excellence (NATE), the leading certification program for the industry.”

Comfort Tech is the local Carrier dealer serving Greene, Ulster, and Dutchess counties. Its team of service technicians can also repair and service all other manufacturers’ equipment.
