ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has named Haller Enterprises, Lititz, Pa., as its 2014 Commercial Contractor of the Year.

“Again this year we had a number of innovative commercial contractors apply for this award,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO. “Our judges always have an extremely tough decision to make when they pick the recipient of this award. This year’s winner, Haller Enterprises, illustrates the characteristics that all of the best commercial contractors in the country have in common.”

Haller Enterprises will be presented the Commercial Contractor of the Year award on March 19 at the ACCA 2014 conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

ACCA said Haller Enterprise’s business strategy of creating partnerships within the industry, the company, and the community helped set them apart from the other finalists and earn them the award.

Started in 1981, the multi-location contracting company has seen steady growth even in the toughest economies. The company credits its success to continually improving its processes and working closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors to reach the ultimate goal of having happy, loyal, long-term customers. Included in its business strategy is a comprehensive training program focused on the learning styles of team members that has created a staff eager to learn. The leadership team focuses on growing the strengths of each team member and encourages them to help grow the industry by becoming involved with the local trade schools.

“We are absolutely thrilled and filled with pride at being awarded the ACCA Commercial Contractor of the Year,” said John Michel, president, Haller Enterprises. “We feel it is a complete team effort by all the members of our Haller team. This is a major achievement and we appreciate every day the opportunity to serve all of our Haller customers.”

The ACCA 2014 conference is set for March 17-20, 2014 in Nashville. For more information and to register, visit www.accaconference.com.
