LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Intertek hosted the formal grand opening of its new testing laboratory in Lake Forest, Calif. Expanding its local presence from 30,000 square feet to now 80,000 square feet of office and laboratory space, Intertek said it can now deliver faster and more efficient product testing services to help manufacturers meet all of their industry and regulatory requirements.

Invited guests included the company’s customers across Southern California, as well as officials from City Hall and the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce. Lake Forest’s mayor, Dwight Robinson, presented a city certificate to Nimer al-Hafi, president, Intertek Products U.S., during the ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the event.

“We are extremely proud of our new laboratory in Lake Forest, and honored to have such support of the city and its leadership,” said al-Hafi. “Intertek is very committed to helping customers develop and launch new products so that they can be successful around the world. We are also committed to the city of Lake Forest to be a good corporate partner, to provide rewarding jobs, and to continue to expand in the future.”

Between Intertek’s initial laboratory in the city and this second facility, the company can provide manufacturers with safety, performance, and environmental testing.
