ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International, represented by Asia AMCA in the Asia Pacific region, has announced the launch of a bilingual website: www.asiaamca.org. The Asia region has experienced tremendous growth in AMCA membership, due in part to the newly formed Engineer Associates Program, driving the need to develop English and Chinese versions of the Asia AMCA website in order to better serve the needs of new members and associates in the region, said the organization.

The Asia AMCA website provides technical information, news, and events occurring in real time at AMCA International, with a particular focus on the Asia region. “Asia is AMCA’s fastest growing area of the world in terms of membership in the organization, necessitating information to be available in the native language,” said Wade Smith, executive director of AMCA International. “The Engineer Associates Program, launched in 2013, resulted in a surge of industry professionals joining our organization, indicating a need for a Chinese language information source. We recognized the value of a strategic partnership with these engineers who specify AMCA-certified ratings, and our goal was to make information available to them in their own language in order to serve them better,” added Goh Swee Lee, executive director, Asia AMCA.
