Version IRSoft 3, the next generation of thermal imaging software, is backward compatible with all of the company’s thermal imagers. The new version features IrApi (application programming interface) with functions that include displaying the thermal image, displaying the real image, and retrieving information, e.g., device designation, serial number, or temperature values. The software is free to all users of the manufacturer’s thermal imaging products. Supported operating systems include Windows XP SP 3 or higher, Windows Vista SP 2 or higher, Windows 7 SP 1 or higher, and Windows 8 or higher.
