ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. — RSES has entered into an articulation agreement with Pennsylvania State University affiliate, Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT) based in Williamsport, Pa., that provides college credit for students who have completed RSES training courses.

Under the agreement, PCT will grant 53 credits for successful completion of specified RSES training courses toward a Bachelor of Science major in HVAC design technology from its school of construction & design technologies.

“We are excited to sign this agreement with Pennsylvania College of Technology,” said Roger Hensley, educational and examining board chairman, RSES. “It provides an excellent opportunity for our members and acknowledges that they can now earn college credit for RSES training. No matter where you may have successfully completed the RSES training modules, you can apply to enter into the HVAC design technology degree at PCT.”

Tom F. Gregory, associate vice president, PCT, added, “It is important for technicians wishing to add to their knowledge and skills to be able to gain recognition and acknowledgement of their accomplishments. Being able to apply the RSES education modules to an advanced degree can significantly benefit technicians desiring to advance in the industry.”
