Dec. 18, 2013: App Enables Service Contractors to Run Their Business on the Go

CrewTools Is Designed to Solve Common Issues Associated with Running a Contracting Business

December 18, 2013
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — Crew Tools LLC has released a new business management app designed for contractors in all service industries. The company said the Crew Tools app has been developed to allow contractors to run their daily operations from their smartphone or tablet, making time out of the office and on the job more efficient and profitable.

CrewTools is designed to solve common issues associated with running a contracting business. As a contractor, Peter Logan, who developed the app, experienced these issues — running back and forth from desk to job site to create estimates, schedule jobs, scan and fax signed contracts, send invoices, and collect payments.

The lag time between speaking to a customer about their needs, creating estimates, and signing on the dotted line added to the struggle to remain competitive. Feeling the need to streamline, Logan created an app that manages each of those tasks. Within CrewTools you can manage client information, job information, get turn by turn directions to and from job sites, create and view estimates, job notes, photos, and invoices, create contracts onsite, and accept signature and payment on the spot. CrewTools also allows you to schedule jobs and meetings, making it possible to manage your company from the job site.

The stand-alone app utilizes cloud technology to provide an inexpensive mobile business management solution, said the company. Cost of the app is $9.99.
