DAYTON, Ohio — WinWholesale Inc. announced that its new 200,000-square-foot regional distribution center in Middletown, Conn., is open for business to serve its locations primarily in the Northeast after 12 months of construction. It replaces a smaller leased facility in North Haven, Conn.

WinWholesale is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of residential and commercial construction and industrial supplies and materials.

“The Middletown Regional Distribution Center is a competitive advantage for our Northeast locations in meeting product needs to grow their businesses. There will be a greater breadth and depth of products available to them,” said Paul Donarum, vice president, WinWholesale Sourcing Services. “In addition, the facility is a place our locations can bring customers for vendor and training events.”

The new distribution center has 1,564 square feet of training space for presentations and working product displays accommodated by quick disconnects and floor drains for toilets, shower heads, faucets, and other products.

The company will also open a 250,000-square-foot regional distribution center in Aurora, Colo., in spring 2014 to replace another smaller leased facility in Denver. WinWholesale also has regional distribution centers in Miamisburg, Ohio, and Prince George, Va. Each is 200,000 square feet.

When WinWholesale announced construction of the two new distribution centers in October 2012, Rick Schwartz, CEO and chairman, said the facilities would fit in with the company’s growth strategy to allow the organization to expand.

WinWholesale has more than 550 wholesaling locations in 45 states under the Win branded companies, Noland Company, and Carr Supply. For more information, visit www.winwholesale.com.
