Designed for the commercial heating market, the Endura™ is a vertical firetube-design boiler. It is offered in two sizes: 1.5 million Btuh (EDR-1500) and 2 million Btuh (EDR-2000). Features include a duplex stainless steel three-pass heat exchanger with enhanced fireside surfaces, full input with 4 inches wc incoming natural gas pressure, 120-V single-phase power supply, and up to 8:1 turndown. The boiler offers less than 20 ppm (parts per million) NOx emissions. It has been Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) certified at 93.5 percent efficiency for the EDR-1500 and 93.7 percent efficiency for the EDR-2000. The boiler is equip-ped with a color touch-screen display with extensive capabilities, including building management system (BMS) communication and integrated sequencing for up to eight boilers. Service features include removable latched panels and flexible arrangements for installation. According to the manufacturer, there are no minimum water temperature requirements, and dedicated circulator pumps, flow switches, and temperature controls valves are not required.
