ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) announced that it presented a seminar in Seoul, South Korea, on its globally recognized certification program. The seminar took place during Energy Korea 2013, hosted by the Korea Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Assessment Center (KRAAC), an AHRI global partner.

“We are honored to participate in this groundbreaking event in Seoul,” said Stephen Yurek, AHRI president and CEO. “Our world-class certification program is a global symbol of energy performance and is a key component to meeting national and regional energy use standards all over the world.”

AHRI’s presentation was given by AHRI senior vice president Henry Hwong, who opened the seminar with general remarks about the program. AHRI consultant Bridge Xue covered specific program details for AHRI certified water source heat pumps, central station air-handling units, and water chilling packages.
