PIQUA, Ohio — Hartzell Air Movement announced that Ohio Gov. John Kasich visited its new large fan facility. The reason for the visit was to celebrate the successful first year of the Ohio Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program (OIWTVP) and to kick off the second year of the program. The governor spoke of the importance of the OIWTVP and urged other businesses to get involved.

President of Hartzell Air Movement, Sean Steimle, spoke at the event, stating, “In order for a business to remain competitive, their employees need to have the proper training and education.”

Hartzell participated in the voucher program by supplying some of its employees with Lean training, SolidWorks training, and other various computer training. Madan Baral, senior project engineer at Hartzell Air Movement, said, “The SolidWorks training that I received has also helped me grow individually and become a more well-rounded professional engineer.” SolidWorks is an engineering software program that allows Hartzell Air Movement to create detailed drawings as well as new designs for the company’s industrial fans.

Hartzell Air Movement is a leading manufacturer of industrial air moving solutions for a variety of markets throughout the world. The company manufactures in Ohio, Indiana, and Singapore. For more information, visit www.hartzellairmovement.com.
