NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Polygon, a provider of temporary humidity control, property damage restoration, and disaster preparedness services, has launched an Android version of its psychrometric app called PsycIt. The company said the app provides a time-saving tool for HVAC technicians, engineers, and building managers by promptly and accurately supplying psychrometric calculations on-site.

Simple to use, the mobile app is capable of calculating the most complex air-moisture combinations, said the company. PsycIt can supply wet and dry bulb, vapor pressure, enthalpy, relative humidity, dew point, and humidity ratio. The app eliminates the need to handle a psychrometric chart in the field.

Polygon said the psychrometric calculation app enables easy input and output of ambient conditions, blended air calculations, system work, and promptly provides accurate readings in both imperial and metric.

PsycIt is now available for the iPhone, Android, and Blackberry in lite and full versions.

Currently offered in six languages, with more to be added, both the lite and full versions are free to download from the Polygon website at www.polygongroup.us.
