The PHI Package Unit by RGF® is designed to eliminate sick building syndrome risks by reducing odors, air pollutants, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), smoke, mold, bacteria, etc. The product is designed specifically for package systems and utilizes adjustable magnetic feet to attach without fasteners to the blower unit itself, making installation as trouble-free as possible. This 24-V model connects directly into the control box of an HVAC unit and is now available in 5- and 9-inch cells. The units can handle package products from 1.5-7.5 tons. According to the company, it is perfect for all applications where ductwork is hard to get to. The RGF Package Unit utilizes UV light enhanced by a hydrated quad-metallic compound target that develops an advanced oxidation reaction, creating hydro-peroxides, super oxide ions, and hydroxides. By engineering the proper UV light wavelength, in combination with a triple-function, no-maintenance unit, the PHI Cell provides safe hydrogen peroxides to purify the air, said the company.
