ChillMaster P-T Chart

Description: The Parker Sporlan ChillMaster P-T Chart diagnoses pressure-temperature relationships in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to help service technicians diagnose a system issue quickly. ChillMaster P-T Chart allows for quick conversion by providing essential refrigerant data to mobile devices. Contractors and technicians will enjoy the user-friendly design, precise calculations, and customization options, such as saving regularly used refrigerants and selecting a preferred unit of measurement. The refrigerant data is based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) refrigerant properties. More than 70 refrigerants (traditional and natural) are featured in the P-T Chart. Extras include a training article, “Using the P-T Card as a Service Tool.”

Description: Copeland X-Ref version 3.0, an updated version of Emerson’s popular mobile application, provides on-the-go access to Emerson’s online compressor cross-reference database for air conditioning products — a tool used by thousands of wholesalers and contractors to get product specifications and determine compatible replacement Copeland brand compressors. In addition to pulling up information using the first three digits of a compressor model number, contractors can now use the new label bar code scanning feature to quickly search Emerson’s online database for replacement product information. The updated Copeland X-Ref mobile app also includes capacitor specifications, model bar code scanning, performance information at two condition points, expanded mechanical and electrical information, enhanced tab layout, and auto fill model recommendations.

Description: The CDA has converted its popular Copper Tube Handbook into an app that can be downloaded directly onto an iPad or iPhone and carried onto the job site. The app is a valuable resource for anyone working with copper tube and piping systems or seeking access to technical specifications, data, or installation instructions. Also available through the app are several educational how-to videos from the “Do it Proper with Copper,” Series which are produced by CDA and demonstrate various copper-joining techniques, as well as help distinguish the different sizings and designations for copper tube, pipe, and fittings.

Description: The app provides homeowners and professionals with an augmented reality vision of a Mitsubishi Electric ductless product positioned within a desired space. Mitsubishi Electric designed the tool to make it easier than ever to showcase and sell ductless cooling and heating systems. The meVIEW AR allows the contractor to show a homeowner a model of a Mitsubishi Electric indoor or outdoor unit in the actual space through the iPad camera. The meVIEW AR app has evolved from the original meVIEW app launched in 2011, which allowed users to take photographs and insert product models into the frame.
