Kennihan Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Joins Dr. Energy Saver Network

Home Energy Audits Will Show Energy Waste, What Upgrades Will Make a Difference

VALENCIA, Pa. — Kennihan Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning of Valencia, Pa., has joined Dr. Energy Saver, a network of contractors dedicated to providing homeowners with a comfortable, energy-efficient home and lower energy bills.

Dr. Energy Saver contractors and their technicians are certified and receive ongoing training at the network’s headquarters in Seymour, Conn. These professionals inspect all major systems that play a role in the energy performance of a building, including the water heater, furnace, ductwork, insulation, lighting, air conditioning and ventilation, and provide a report on which systems could benefit from improvements.

Kennihan Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, the parent company of Kennihan’s Dr. Energy Saver, has been serving western Pennsylvania communities since 1969. Owner Bill Kennihan explained that joining Dr. Energy Saver completes the circle of energy solutions that the company can provide.

“Now we can meet their [homeowners’] needs not only through heating and cooling equipment, delivery systems and indoor air quality but also through insulating their home,” said Kennihan, adding, “Joining Dr. Energy Saver will help us continue our goal of providing safe, healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient solutions for the homeowner.”

Kennihan’s Dr. Energy Saver offers home energy audits to show homeowners areas of energy waste and what upgrades will make the biggest difference in achieving increased energy efficiency throughout their home.
