Panasonic Eco Solutions North America: Ventilation Fan Lights

The WhisperGreen LED models — FV-08VKSE3 and FV-08VKME3 — have been added to the WhisperGreen® ventilation fan line. The vent fan lights have an LED light engine and dc motor. The 80-cfm units provide spot and/or whole-house ventilation. Both models include a dual adaptor for 4- or 6-inch ducts. Features include 0.25 inches water gauge (wg) static pressure, built-in variable-speed controls, and delay timer. Powered by SmartFlow® Optimum CFM technology, the WhisperGreen LED fan lights can detect and compensate for additional static pressure by increasing the airflow to achieve the specified cfm output, so no matter how the fan is installed, it will operate as it should, to ensure it exhausts biological pollutants and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to create a cleaner indoor environment, said the company. The FV-08VKME3 features a SmartAction® motion sensor, which activates when it senses a person and automatically returns to the pre-set lower speed when the occupant leaves the room. According to the manufacturer, it is also ideal for people with disabilities and assisted living environments such as nursing homes and retirement communities. The fan lights are Energy Star-rated, and Home Ventilating Institute-certified.
