PEORIA, Ariz. — Rapid Recovery, a nationwide refrigerant abatement company, has announced its expansion into Riverside, Calif. The company said this location — its 32nd — will cover the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, bringing its refrigerant recovery services to Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

With locations from coast to coast and work experience in over 47 states, Rapid Recovery said it continues to expand to meet the need for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-compliant refrigerant recovery. The use of Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI)-certified gas powered recovery equipment gives Rapid Recovery a speed advantage over an HVACR contractor’s standard electric equipment.

“Our superior service and industry leading EPA documentation are two critical values that set Rapid Recovery apart for contractors,” said Adam Dykstra, president of Rapid Recovery. “Another significant advantage is our franchise model, which is quality local ownership that provides a great partnership for local contractors.”

Rapid Recovery’s Riverside operation is owned and operated by Colleen and Mark Pearce.

“We ensure that our customers are treated as we like to be treated, on every project. Being on time, open communication, commitment to professional work, and fair pricing are the cornerstones of our foundation,” said Colleen Pearce.

“We were being called for jobs from our first day open. Our ability to complete jobs in hours instead of the days it takes contractors to complete them with electric equipment, is why we are growing so fast. Our trucks come to your job site and are set up for difficult access recoveries (rooftops or basements are not a significant challenge). Additionally, we assume their EPA liability for every pound of refrigerant we recover,” said Pearce.

Mark Pearce said, “Our process (equipment, tools, and personnel) really impress even the most experienced of HVAC and refrigeration technicians. Once a contractor uses us, they get it.” He added, “We provide two main services: 1) at-your-shop cylinder service, and 2) job-site recovery. We work on anything from residential package units all the way up to chillers with tens of thousands of pounds.”
