RACINE, Wis. — Modine Manufacturing Co. has announced the appointment of Ralf Beck to the position of vice president and chief technology officer. In this role, Beck will report to Thomas Burke, president and chief executive officer, and will be responsible for Modine’s global research and development and engineering organizations.

Beck, 52, has been with Modine for 26 years and has held a variety of management positions, including application engineering manager; sales director of Modine´s Europe Heavy Duty Division; product director; managing director sales and engineering - Europe; and most recently, vice president, research and engineering.

“Ralf is a proven leader, someone fully capable of assuming this important position and leading Modine’s highly capable technology organizations to identify global trends and their linkage to market needs and then develop the right corresponding products for Modine’s customers,” said Burke. “I am looking forward to working with him in this new capacity.”
