CHANDLER, Ariz. — Air Care, a Chandler, Ariz.-based HVAC contractor, announced that it is providing Aeroseal duct sealing with the purchase of a new air conditioning unit. The offer applies to all new air conditioning units purchased from and installed by Air Care for a limited time. Air Care is an authorized Aeroseal service provider.

Aeroseal technology helps lower energy costs by sealing leaky air ducts; the company says that as much as 30 percent of the cost to heat and cool a home can disappear into the air around ducting. Air duct leaks can also bring in excess mold and dust into a home, aggravating allergies at the same time as driving up energy costs.

Aeroseal is an aerosol-based duct sealing solution that works from the inside of the ductwork. The sealant is introduced into the ductwork and its polymer particles stick to each leak and to each other until the leaks are fully sealed.
