Accessories for the Alnor Balometer® Capture Hood EBT731, a multipurpose electronic air-balancing instrument, include the capture hood stand and LogDat™ Mobile. The stand eliminates the use of ladders on most balancing jobs and LogDat Mobile is an app, based on Android OS, that remotely displays and logs displayed data. The hood stand can reach ceiling diffusers and grilles up to 15 feet (with the hood attached) and can be wheeled from diffuser to diffuser. The capture hood is secured onto a quad bracket, and two extension-pole sections can be raised to the desired height to make a tight seal against the outlet when locked in place. The app communicates with the hood remotely up to 100 feet (30.5 m) away and displays sample data in real-time. Measurement data, such as flow and temperature, can be stored into local test IDs. The app can also be used to remotely read and save data as well as take pictures, record voice notes, view statistics, and generate graphical models. The user can export results and attachments to an SD card, Gmail, or Google Drive for report generation.
