March 12, 2013: ABM Adds New Franchise Locations in Maryland and Missouri

NEW YORK — ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, announced that its subsidiary, ABM Franchising Group LLC, has signed franchise agreements with FPG Commercial Services, a leading provider of mechanical contracting and sustainability services in the greater Baltimore area, and with QuesTec Mechanical, a leading provider of mechanical contracting services in central Missouri.

ABM Franchising Group, a portfolio of franchise networks that deliver mechanical and electrical service and preventive maintenance solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, consists of four franchise brands: Linc Service, GreenHomes America, TEGG, and CurrentSAFE. FPG Commercial Services will operate under the Linc Service franchise brand, focusing on meeting the mechanical service needs of clients across multiple markets, from commercial office buildings to industrial facilities. QuesTec Mechanical will also operate under the Linc Service franchise brand, specializing in the mechanical service needs of commercial and institutional clients.

Owned and operated by Fort Pitt Group, FPG Commercial Services serves the mechanical and electrical needs of commercial, educational, health care, and industrial clients throughout Maryland. In addition, FPG Commercial Services employs a team of industry experts who are certified in providing clients with green technology and building solutions.

“FPG Commercial Services has and will continue to provide our clients the best commercial service experience available in the greater Baltimore area,” said Frank Pronesti, president of FPG Commercial Services. “Joining the franchise network provides the incentive we need to continue to move our company forward. We look forward to a successful partnership as a Linc Service Contractor.”

Located in Columbia, Mo., QuesTec Mechanical has become a leading provider of plumbing, pipe fitting, and HVAC service for commercial and institutional clients. In 2012, the company completed $32 million worth of mechanical contracting services in the central Missouri area.

“With the success of our construction company, we have a growing need to provide service for our existing clients as well as a desire to build a successful service business on its own merits,” said Scott Boyd, president of QuesTec Mechanical. “In becoming a Linc Service Contractor, QuesTec Mechanical believes we have found a like-minded partner with the experience, technology, and people to help us become world class in the service we deliver.”
