DALLAS — Among the many products at the Trane booth, the company is highlighting its new Series S™ CenTraVac™ chiller featuring AdaptiSpeed™ technology, which Trane says delivers optimum efficiency for centrifugal chillers in the 180-390 tonnage range.

AdaptiSpeed integrates the specific speed direct-drive compressor, permanent magnet motor, and AFD3 Adaptive Frequency™ Drive to deliver efficient operation and low sound levels. Designed for replacement and retrofit applications, the chiller features a bolt-together design and smaller footprint for easier installation in tight spaces.
