Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013: Natatorium Dehumidifier Reduces Refrigerant Use up to 85 Percent

Natatorium DehumidifierDALLAS — Seresco USA’s Protocol (NP) Series is a new indoor swimming pool dehumidifier technology that reduces refrigerant use by up to 85 percent and is more efficient than conventional dehumidifiers, says the company.

The Protocol provides energy-efficient natatorium space heating/cooling and optimum humidity control, while also offering free pool water heating and reheat through heat recovery. It substitutes the refrigerant commonly used in dehumidifiers with glycol that costs significantly less and is environmentally-preferred for sustainable building projects.

In addition, WebSentry Mobile, a new remote monitoring service for smartphones, is being demonstrated along with a new non-commercial Natatorium Design professional development hour video that satisfies most states’ requirements for engineer continuing education credits.
