NORWALK, Conn. — EMCOR Group Inc., a leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure, and facilities services, announced that its subsidiary EMCOR Government Services has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army to perform support services for the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Huachuca, in Sierra Vista, Ariz. The contract provides for a one-year term with an option by the U.S. Army to extend it for up to four additional years. If the project extends over the five-year period, EMCOR Government Services will be paid an aggregate of $42.7 million.

EMCOR Government Services will be responsible for performing a variety of functions at Fort Huachuca, including operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and water and wastewater systems. Its scope of work also includes minor construction, roads and grounds maintenance, and pest control.
