Danfoss Hosts Webinar

Danfoss application engineer Christopher Brown will host a webinar, “Exploring CO2: The Natural Choice for Sustainable, Efficient Refrigeration Systems,” at 1 p.m. ET on Jan. 15.

Participants in the 60-minute webinar will learn greenhouse-gas comparisons of refrigerants, including direct and indirect emissions, the difference between subcritical and transcritical refrigeration systems, processes and how to maximize energy efficiency, applications for CO2 refrigeration systems, design considerations, and the benefits of CO2, including heat reclaim capabilities.

Brown provides engineering support for the company’s electronic controllers and services division’s customer applications, which includes facilitating supermarket refrigeration system startups, as well as remote or on-site system design, testing, and maintenance. His role includes conducting instructional classes on a variety of topics, including both general electronic and CO2-specific controls training, in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. For more information, visit achrnews.com.
