A universal filter frame for built-up bank HVAC systems, the FastFrame™ air filter holding frame uses exclusive new compression tab technology. This innovation allows rapid filter change-out without the hassle of clips and fasteners, or the very common problem of finger cuts caused by the sharp edges on conventional framing systems, said the company. The air filter is constructed of 16-gauge all-welded galvanized steel for long-term corrosion protection. A ¾-inch sealing flange with premium replaceable gasket prevents air bypass between the frame and the filter header. The gasket’s overlapping seal guards against air bypass at the frame’s corners. Final filter and prefilter compression tabs facilitate a clear snap-in-place seal for the final filter and a secure hold for the prefilter. The compression tabs are easily replaceable should the air quality requirements of the application change. Centering dimples, an integral part of the frame, help with quick alignment of the final or prefilter. FastFrame accommodates a wide variety of ASHRAE-grade final filters, prefilters, and combinations. It is available in sizes to meet the airflow sizing requirements of every application, including 24x24, 12x24, 20x24, and 20x20 inches.
