Ideal for guest rooms in hotels, dormitories, assisted living centers, or any application that has tight vertical clearances and minimal ductwork, the ceiling-concealed, ducted commercial indoor units have been significantly updated, said the company. The ceiling-concealed indoor units can be used with all of the manufacturer’s variable refrigerant flow (VRF) zoning outdoor units and can be monitored through the City Multi Controls Network. The indoor unit offers end users adjustable static pressure settings, extremely quiet operation, and high efficiency. The single-phase ducted indoor units (models PEFY-P72 and PEFY-P96) include a new motor that provides up to 60 percent energy savings over previous generation equipment, and static pressure settings up to 1 inch (with voltage changes) that provide flexibility for duct extension, branching, and air outlet configuration, the company said. Other features of the unit include dual set point functionality, single-phase power, multiple fan speed, and reduced noise (36-46 dBA).
