Aprilaire: Residential IAQ Control System

residential IAQ control systemThe Home Comfort Control™ comprehensive, two-part IAQ control system utilizes an intuitive, touch-screen user interface which connects to an Equipment Control Module with standard three-wire connection, eliminating the need for separate controls for humidifiers, dehumidifiers, ventilation, and temperature control systems. Features include automatic humidity control; thermostat with Heat Blast™ for one-touch immediate override to raise temperature; Event-Based™ air cleaning with four selectable air cleaning events; Event-Based ventilation control timed to ASHRAE 62.2; and equipment control module with easy, flexible wiring and mounting access. Additional enhancements include maintenance reminders, real language programming touch screen, optional wireless outdoor temperature sensor, and imprint program on battery cover. The system gives homeowners confirmation and complete control of humidity, air cleaning, ventilation, and temperature. According to the manufacturer, the control can be sold as a system of solutions or as just a two-part thermostat, increasing the opportunities for conversations and sales with homeowners.
