EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. — Oil Heat Cares (OHC), a 501c-3 charitable foundation of the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals (OESP), has launched a new website,www.oilheatcares.com. OHC said this new site will further its mission of assisting those in need with the replacement of oil-heating equipment.

OHC thanked industry partner Consumer Focus™ (the marketing side of ServiceEdge™) for creating the website. The firm provides integrated services for the energy industry, such as website development, service agreements, budget and cap plan development, and various promotional materials.

Since its inception eight years ago, a number of communities and individuals have benefited from OHC’s work. OESP members have identified organizations and/or individuals in their communities who are struggling to heat their homes and OHC has stepped in to help. “We are proud of the fact that we turn around decisions on a project within 48 hours — and generally less,” said Judy Garber, OHC chairperson of the board. “We know the importance of keeping others safe and warm.”

OHC’s main fundraiser is its Care to Ride event which is held at OESP’s Annual Convention and Trade Show. This past May in Providence, R.I., participants walked, rode bicycles and motorcycles, and also ran for the cause. Participants, along with corporate sponsors, raised over $72,000 for OHC. The next Care to Ride event will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 in Hershey, Pa., during OESP’s 2013 Convention and Trade Show.
