The SUD8358 Magna-Clean™ copper spun magnetic filter drier reduces and captures microscopic steel, iron, stainless steel, moisture, and other particles as the refrigerant flows through the air conditioning or refrigeration (ACR) system. It also includes UV dye that will circulate throughout the ACR system for future leak detection troubleshooting. The drier protects and reduces wear and tear on component parts. According to the manufacturer, it is compatible with all refrigerants up to 500 psi. Features include an inlet size of ¼-inch OD/¼-inch flare, outlet size of ¼-inch OD or cap, a length of 8¾ inches, and a diameter of 1 inch.
