MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. — Lincoln College of Technology’s (Grand Prairie, Texas) HVACR program has gained accreditation by HVAC Excellence.

In seeking accreditation, the staff at the Lincoln College of Technology had to complete and submit a self study evaluation of their program that demonstrates how they meet each required standard. The self study, once completed, was sent to HVAC Excellence for their executive team to thoroughly assess for compliance against each standard.

HVAC Excellence approved the self study and sent an onsite team to conduct an intense review of the programs. Upon conclusion of their visit, HVAC Excellence granted Lincoln College of Technology a six year accreditation — the highest attainable accreditation the organization offers.

The final determination to the school included zero compliance corrections as the school met or exceeded all standards. This should not come as a surprise to anyone in the Grand Prairie community as the state of Texas has five HVACR instructors who hold the title of Certified Master HVACR Educator (CMHE). All five of those instructors are on staff at Lincoln College of Technology. The CMHE title is the highest HVAC Excellence credential an HVACR educator may receive.
