Aug. 23, 2012: John Schulte Joins NEBB as Executive Vice President

GAITHERSBURG, Md. — The board of directors of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) announced that it has appointed John Schulte as the organization’s new executive vice president.

Schulte has more than 20 years of experience in association management. Prior to joining NEBB, he was the executive director of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), where he helped expand the presence of the organization in domestic and international markets and enhance business opportunities for members.

He also served as the technical and apprenticeship director of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association (PHCC), where he was responsible for the organization’s training and plumbing code initiatives. In addition, he served as executive director of the Association of Water Technologies (AWT), helping regional companies gain visibility and influence in the water treatment industry.

Neil Marshall, NEBB president, said, “We are excited to have John join NEBB as the executive vice president. His range of experience in the industry, association management, as well as in government relations will be a tremendous asset for NEBB and the industry.”

“NEBB is a leader in certifications in each of its disciplines and I am proud to be part of this organization” Schulte said. “NEBB certified firms understand the opportunities and challenges that building owners face. I look forward to working with the board, the staff, and the chapters for the success of NEBB certified firms in this transformed economy. ”

NEBB is an international association of certified firms that perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems in addition to building systems commissioning, building systems retro-commissioning, fume hood testing, building envelope testing, and cleanroom certification.
