• Tiercel Technology Corp. (Princeton, Ontario, Canada) received a grant from the University of Waterloo to optimize its commercial air purifier technology and products.

• Daikin McQuay (Minneapolis) announced that Tom Watson (right), chief engineer, has been selected as the new president of ASHRAE (Atlanta).

• Ilios Dynamics (Waltham, Mass.) signed a distribution agreement with Aloha Energy Group LLC (Keaau, Hawaii).
