Designed to provide contractors with everything needed to reliably replace a compressor, the service protection kits can extend the life of an air conditioning or heat pump system and reduce future costly repairs. Each service protection kit comes stocked with Copeland components such as capacitors, filter drier, contactor, molded plug, and mounting parts. In certain models, kits include a start capacitor and relay, copper tubing, and a Comfort Alert™ diagnostics module. Kits are packaged inside the compressor single pack box and are currently available for single-phase residential applications: Copeland Scroll compressors — ZR16-ZR54K5, ZR61K3 — and Copeland reciprocating compressors — CR24-CR42K6, CR47KQ, and CRN5.
