Mitsibushi Electric Hosts Conference

SUWANEE, Ga. — Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating held its second annual Diamond Service Group (DSG) conference March 5-8 at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett place in Duluth, Ga. The DSG is a nationwide network of Mitsubishi Electric distributor technical service professionals trained to provide technical support for Mitsubishi Electric’s commercial and residential cooling and heating products. This three-day conference provided a forum for DSG members to exchange ideas, relate technical issues and solutions, and participate in educational sessions to enhance DSG operations nationwide.

“The DSG conference was a great opportunity for members to come together to share knowledge, tips, and insights on Mitsubishi Electric products,” said Tony Hayes, senior director, service and technical operations, Mitsubishi Electric. “Our DSG members share a commitment to providing contractors with the best technical support, service, and training in the industry, and this conference is one way they improve their product troubleshooting knowledge and learn from the experiences of fellow group members.”

Since its founding in 2003, the DSG has grown from a handful of members to a network of 120 dedicated individuals from North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Members, who work for Mitsubishi Electric distributors, operate as local customer contacts for troubleshooting and supporting installed Mitsubishi Electric cooling and heating products.

The conference included breakout sessions with topics covering service and troubleshooting sessions on common technical issues of both residential and commercial product lines as well as sessions on geothermal technology, maintenance tools, and DSG engagement.
